Born
in Montrose Scotland in 1951, Martin has lived in Weymouth in the
beautiful county of Dorset for the past 48 years. In 2003 he opened
his own gallery close to Weymouth harbour side with a working studio.
The gallery is situated on the first floor of a beautifully converted
Grade II listed building. Martin is a self-taught artist specialising
in oils on canvas and he has been painting for over 30 years. It
all started as a hobby but his work has progressed to a professional
level with several paintings now being published as limited edition
prints. His work is in collections not only in the UK, but also
in Australia, USA and South Africa.
